A 30-year veteran of the sales industry, Claude Roy is a skilled brand-builder with an exceptional feel for the market. After working in sales and account management for leading manufacturers and distributors, Claude set out to launch his own distribution firm.
In 1994, Claude secured the distribution rights to the sportswear and leisurewear brand, Sergio Tacchini. This successful partnership was the first of many for MOMENTUM, as the company grew from a one-man show into a leading distribution company. Nearly two decades later, Claude continues to spearhead MOMENTUM’s success as the company’s president and majority owner.

Pierre Vermette has worked with sports apparel and footwear brands for more than 20 years, combining his passion for exercise with strong business acumen. He first honed his sales skills as a representative for several major sportswear brands, and later as the U.S. National Sales and Marketing Director of a leading cycling label. Upon his return to Canada in 2002, Pierre joined MOMENTUM and formed the F3 division, specializing in the marketing and distribution of outdoor and aerobic gear and apparel.

Devon Cruickshank has worked in the sports and leisure industry for 20+ years, starting off on the production side of the golf business,and then moving into sales management for several prominent golf brands. After earning his MBA in Strategy and Finance, Devon—a snow sports enthusiast—joined Rossignol Apparel as VP of Sales and Marketing.
Devon joined Momentum in 2010 as a divisional GM managing the Rossignol Apparel brand.Devon brings his extensive sales and product experience to the groups business development area in new brand partnerships.
His division currently manages brands in the sport and lifestyle segments.

Prior to working at MOMENTUM, Alex Ouimette spent several years as the National Sales Manager of a leading footwear developer/manufacturer. With regular trips to Asia to supervise manufacturers, he became an expert in product development, and launched a successful skateboard footwear brand. Alex now brings his know-how and enthusiasm for footwear to MOMENTUM’s Unit-6 division, where he manages all aspects of sales and development.

Robert Leroux has worked in the footwear industry for more than 10 years, sourcing from international suppliers and manufacturers and supervising production and quality control. He currently manages the buying and sourcing, manufacturing, and production for Unit-6’s licensing and private label contracts.

VP of Operations
Sylvie Brault became involved in operations management at a young age, working in her family’s retail toy business. She later took on credit management and Director of Operations roles with prominent sportswear and mountain goods manufacturers. In 1999, Sylvie brought her extensive management experience to MOMENTUM as VP of Operations, where she oversees the credit, accounts receivable, and IT departments, as well as all import and distribution activities related to purchasing, customer service, and warehousing.
